Charles Jonas was born in Bristol, PA and grew up in Middetown Township’s Levittown section. He attended Bishop Egan High School and today his Trenton Road office sits across the street from where he attended elementary school.
Mr. Jonas is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association’s Criminal Law and Family Law sections. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Bucks County court-appointed criminal list. He is a member of the Bucks County Inns of Court. For over ten years, Mr. Jonas served on the Board of Directors for Edison Court Inc., a non-profit that provided mental health services to juveniles in the justice system. For several years, Mr. Jonas was chosen as a finalist by his peers for the Bucks County Bar Association’s Outstanding Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year.

After graduating from Temple University’s School of Law, Mr. Jonas worked as a public defender in Bucks County. In his four years at the Public Defender’s Office, he represented hundreds of clients charged with every type of offense.
Since leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Jonas has continued to concentrate his practice on criminal defense. He has argued innumerable cases before judges and juries. For clients charged with everything from DUI to capital murder. He has appeared before the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
